
RTC offers three types of Internet services, e-mail only accounts, and extra e-mailboxes.
High Speed Internet, also known as DSL, uses the same line as your telephone, however, it sends and receives data on a higher frequency than voice communications allowing you to use the phone while you are online. High Speed Internet is available in most, but not all locations. Speeds vary depending on technological limits.
RTC offers point-to-point LAN service, symmetrical high speed internet service, and various other specialized internet connections.

If you are a current RTC internet customer, you can use WiFi at any of the locations for free! Just log in with your primary RTC email username and password. New customers can establish a one day, one week, or one month account by credit card.
RTC offers a pricing plan for residential customers with multiple high speed Internet connections. Residential customers who have an active second high speed Internet connection can receive their second high speed Internet service for half price. For example if your first high speed Internet connection is $39.95/month, the $20 credit for the second high speed Internet connection would show on the Internet portion of your bill.
Dial-up Internet service is offered throughout all of RTC’s service area. Dial-up Internet uses your current phone line to access the World Wide Web.

WildBlue Satellite Speed Internet is satellite-delivered high-speed Internet service available to those customers who are outside the reach of DSL. This service provides two-way technology for wireless Internet access through a 26-inch satellite minidish. It allows users to retrieve information quicker than dial-up internet service. It offers a continuous online connection, so subscribers don’t have to dial-in and it won’t tie up phone lines.
E-mail Only Accounts are used to send and receive email. This account accesses the internet by dial-up but is not able to surf the web.
Our seasonal disconnect plans work well for customers needing their RTC services disconnected during the summer or winter. When you go on a disconnect plan your telephone number will be saved and listed in the new directory and your Internet username will also be saved. For the following one-time fees your services will be disconnected when you contact us and they will be automatically reconnected on November 1 for summer disconnects or May 1 for winter disconnects. Please contact us if you would like to reconnect your services prior to these dates.
*Some restrictions may apply. If you are a WildBlue Satellite Speed Internet customer, you will be billed $6.65 per month while you are away. This will give you continued access to your email account. Your WildBlue service will automatically return to full service with the full monthly charge on May 1 (Winter Disconnect Plan) or November 1 (Summer Disconnect Plan). If you need it back to full service prior to these dates, you can contact RTC.
Please note: You will need to know your account security password when you call to place your account on a disconnect plan and when you call to reconnect.
1. E-Bill – You can pay your RTC bill online using your Discover, Visa, or MasterCard or with your checking account. Once you have registered with E-Bill you will receive an email notification each month when your RTC bill is ready. It’s an easy and convenient way to pay your bill. To sign up for E-Bill click on E-Bill at the upper right corner of this page. At the bottom of the E-bill page you will see: “If you are not a registered user click here to sign up for online account access.” Click on that link. Fill out the New User Registration. Click Submit.
2. Pay by Bank – Sign up for RTC’s Pay by Bank and your RTC bill will automatically be paid with your checking account. You will continue to receive a monthly bill, however, it will be marked “PAY BY BANK.” The total amount of your bill will be deducted from your bank account on the 15th of each month. You will see this deduction on your monthly bank statement. Sign up for this service by printing and filling out the form shown at the bottom of the page. Return it to RTC with your next payment. You MUST include a voided check.
3. Credit Card - Sign up for credit card payment and your monthly RTC bill will automatically be paid with the credit card of your choice. Sign up for credit card payment by printing and filling out the form shown at the bottom of the page. Return it to RTC with your next payment.
